This page provides instructions for requesting the deletion of data collected by the NTSM Agent mobile application. Users may delete application data locally or submit a formal deletion request via email.


Data Deletion Procedures

Method 1: In-Application Data Deletion

Recommended for immediate data removal

  1. Launch the NTSM Agent application on your Android device.
  2. Choose disconnect the agent ; this will erase all the cache data and stop connection
  3. Exit the application and go to App SettingsNTSM AgentClear All Data.
  4. Tap Clear Data to remove all locally stored inventory data, logs, configuration, and cached information.
  5. Uninstall the NTSM Agent application to permanently delete any remaining local data.

Result: All application‑level data is permanently deleted upon uninstallation.

Method 2: Email-Based Deletion Request

For users unable to access the application

Subject Line: NTSM Agent Data Deletion Request

Required Information:

  • Device model and manufacturer
  • Android operating system version and device hostname
  • Server URL (if known)
  • Device ID (if available from the application interface or our team will help you to find the device id)
  • Approximate date of last application use

Processing Timeline: Requests are acknowledged within 7 business days. Data deletion is completed within 30 calendar days of receipt.


Scope of Data Deletion

Application-Level Data

The following data stored within the NTSM Agent application will be deleted:

  • Server connection profiles (URLs, credentials)
  • Device inventory data cached locally before transmission (hardware, software, network, SIM, battery, etc.)
  • Connection logs and activity history
  • Application preferences and configuration settings
  • Cached data and local database entries

Important: Organization Server Data

NTSM Agent functions as a client application that collects and transmits device inventory information to your organization’s remote management server. Data stored on your organization’s servers—including device hardware details, installed software lists, network information, SIM card details, and other inventory records is maintained and controlled by your organization’s IT department.

To request deletion of organization server data: contact your organization’s IT administrator or system administrator directly. Netviss LLC does not have access to, control over, or responsibility for data stored on organization-managed servers.

Legal and Security Retention

Limited data may be retained for legitimate legal and security purposes, including:

  • Legal Compliance: Data required by applicable law or regulation (retained as legally mandated)
  • Security & Fraud Prevention: Security incident logs and fraud prevention records (up to 1 year)
  • Anonymized Analytics: Aggregated, anonymized usage data that cannot identify individual users
