This page provides instructions for requesting the deletion of data collected by the EdgeVision mobile application. Users may delete application data locally or submit a formal deletion request via email.
Data Deletion Procedures
In-Application Data Deletion
Recommended for immediate data removal
- Launch the EdgeVision application on your Android device
- Navigate to Settings
- Select Disconnect to terminate active server connections
- Return to the Home screen
- Select your server profile
- Choose Delete Profile to remove all connection credentials
- Uninstall the EdgeVision application to permanently remove all local data
Result: All application data is permanently deleted upon uninstallation.
Email-Based Deletion Request
For users unable to access the application
Required Information:
- Device model and manufacturer
- Android operating system version
- Server URL (if known)
- Node ID (if available from application interface)
- Approximate date of last application use
Processing Timeline: Requests are acknowledged within 7 business days. Data deletion is completed within 30 calendar days of receipt.
Scope of Data Deletion
Application-Level Data
The following data stored within the EdgeVision application will be deleted:
EdgeVision functions as a client application that establishes connections to your organization’s remote management infrastructure. Data transmitted to and stored on your organization’s servers—including screen recordings, accessed files, device information, and connection logs—is maintained and controlled by your organization’s IT department.
To request deletion of organization server data: Contact your organization’s IT administrator or system administrator directly. Netviss LLC does not have access to, control over, or responsibility for data stored on organization-managed servers.
Data Retention Policy
| Active Profiles | Retained during active application use |
| Connection Logs | 90 days following last connection event |
| Deleted Profiles | Immediate removal; backup purge within 30 days |
| Email Requests | Processed within 30 days of receipt |
Legal and Security Retention
Limited data may be retained for legitimate legal and security purposes, including:
- Legal Compliance: Data required by applicable law or regulation (retained as legally mandated)
- Security & Fraud Prevention: Security incident logs and fraud prevention records (up to 1 year)
- Anonymized Analytics: Aggregated, anonymized usage data that cannot identify individual users
